
Gerry Sandusky has been a fixture among Baltimore sports media for almost 40 years, making his mark as the longtime play-by-play voice of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens and award-winning sports director of Baltimore’s NBC affiliate, WBAL-TV. He retired from both roles in April.
The son of longtime Baltimore Colts assistant coach John Sandusky, he has found his own niche in coaching as president of The Sandusky Group, a leadership communications company that partners with leaders and organizations to turn expertise into influence in moments that matter most.
Sandusky is the author of “Forgotten Sundays: A Son’s Story of Life, Loss, and Love from the Sidelines,” which was a New York Times best-seller. As a broadcaster, he was a three-time Emmy Award winner and two-time Edward R. Murrow Award honoree.
A graduate of Towson University, Sandusky lives in Baltimore with his wife, Lee Ann
